Tesla Model 3 & Y Under Screen Storage Box Organiser for ETC Cards and Cables

This organiser tray is a simple accessory created for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y owners seeking a neater centre console. It fits precisely into the storage cavity located directly beneath the vehicle's large centre touchscreen on 2024 and newer models. The primary function is to take a space that is often a catch-all for loose items and provide a defined compartment, specifically for flat objects like Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) cards, charging cables for phones or key fobs, pens, and coins. By offering a designated spot for these frequently used items, it helps reduce clutter on the main console or in the cupholders, making them easier to find and access while driving. The box is made from ABS plastic and comes in your choice of black or white to suit your car's interior trim.

Features and Construction

This storage solution is defined by its specific fit and straightforward design, focusing on utility within the modern Tesla cabin layout.

Material and Build

The organiser is manufactured from ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) plastic. This material is chosen for its ability to be moulded into precise shapes that fit factory-designated spaces, its relative rigidity to hold its form, and its light weight. The finish is designed to be clean and functional, matching the aesthetic of the Tesla interior without appearing overly bulky or aftermarket. The construction involves a single-piece moulding for the main tray, ensuring there are no seams or joints that could weaken over time or collect dirt.

Size and Practical Fit

The storage box is engineered to occupy the specific storage cavity found under the touchscreen in the centre console of the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y, particularly for the 2024 model year and onwards. This ensures a tailored fit that sits flush within the existing space without protruding or obstructing other controls. The internal area of the box is shaped to accommodate typical small cabin items; its dimensions are optimised to hold standard ETC cards flat, allow for coiled charging cables, and provide shallow wells for items like pens or a small collection of coins. Its design prioritises accessibility, placing these essentials within easy reach of the driver and front passenger.

Uses and Placement

The organiser addresses common cabin storage challenges, transforming an open space into a functional area for specific items.

Event or Professional Use

For drivers who frequently use toll roads, having an ETC card readily accessible and securely stored is a practical benefit. The dedicated slot prevents the card from being misplaced among other items or sliding under seats. For those who use their Tesla for work or longer journeys, keeping charging cables for mobile devices or the Tesla key card organised and untangled can save time and frustration. The compartment also serves as a convenient spot for a pen for quick notes, parking tickets, or a small USB drive.

Everyday Home Use

In daily driving, the storage box helps maintain a tidy and uncluttered cabin aesthetic, which is a key part of the Tesla ownership experience. It prevents loose change, keys, or cables from rattling around in the larger console bin or cupholders. By assigning a specific home for these small items, it reduces the time spent searching for them when needed. The simple, colour-matched design integrates with the interior, supporting the clean lines and minimalist feel that many Tesla owners appreciate.

Benefits and Buying Value

The value of this accessory lies in its targeted functionality and the simplicity it brings to cabin organisation.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The storage box is a permanent fixture once placed, offering ongoing organisation without any ongoing effort or cost. The ABS plastic material is easy to maintain; occasional wiping with a damp cloth is sufficient to keep it clean. Because it creates a dedicated space, it encourages consistent habits of putting items back in the same place, which sustains its organisational benefit over the long term. There are no moving parts or complex mechanisms that could fail.

Why Choose This Product

This organiser is a considered choice for Tesla Model 3 and Y owners who value a specific, tailored solution over generic storage options. Its primary advantage is its exact fit for the under-screen cavity in these specific vehicles, ensuring it looks and functions as an integrated part of the car. The choice of colours allows for personalisation to match the interior. It solves a clear, defined problem—managing small, flat essentials—with a single, durable component that requires no installation tools or complicated steps.
