Beexcellent GM-1 Stereo Gaming Headset with Mic, LED Light and Over-7-Foot Braided Cord

This Beexcellent GM-1 stereo gaming headset is built around a simple brief: clear game audio, a microphone for chat, and a cable long enough that you are not stuck near the screen. It is primarily designed for PS4, and it also works with Smart Phone, PC, iMac, Laptop, Tablet, PSP and New Xbox One. The over-ear pads are super soft, and the magnetic driver is stated to produce surround sound so you feel like you are right in the middle of the game. A small controller on the cord lets you turn the mic on and off and adjust volume with ease. The braided cord runs over 7 feet, which gives you more freedom to sit back and play. It comes in Blue or Red.

Features and Construction

The headset pairs an over-ear shape with soft padding and an in-line control unit. The magnetic driver and the long braided cord are the two main hardware points stated for this model. A splitter cable is included for desktop computer use, and the LED light is powered through the USB jack.

Material and Build

The GM-1 uses a braided cord that is soft and over 7 feet long. The headset has padding on the top and around the ears, which is stated to make it suitable for long hours of play without feeling heavy. The in-line controller sits on the cord and handles mic on/off and volume up/down. The LED light is part of the headset design, and the USB jack is only for that light, not for signal.

Size and Practical Fit

The main stated measurement is the cord length: over 7 feet. That extra length is useful for video gamers who do not want to sit right in front of the TV. The over-ear pads and top padding are there for long wear. The headset is not compatible with PS3, and an extra adapter, not included, is needed to connect the controller of an old-version console.

Uses and Placement

This headset is mainly aimed at PS4 gamers, but the compatibility list covers several other devices. It can be used with Smart Phone, PC, iMac, Laptop, Tablet, PSP and New Xbox One. For desktop computer connection, the included splitter cable is the relevant accessory.

Event or Professional Use

For longer sessions, the super soft over-ear pads and top padding are cited as comfort points. The mic and volume controls sit on the cord, so you can mute or adjust without reaching for the console. The 7-foot-plus braided cord supports movement during play, which is helpful when you are not sitting close to the screen.

Everyday Home Use

At home, the GM-1 can serve as a general gaming headset for PS4, phone, PC, laptop, tablet, PSP or New Xbox One. The LED light adds a visible detail, powered by the USB jack. The headset is not compatible with PS3, and old-version console controllers need an extra adapter that is not included.

Benefits and Buying Value

The practical value here comes from the combination of a microphone, in-line volume and mic control, a long braided cord, and soft over-ear padding. Those points are all stated in the source material and do not rely on extra claims.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The braided cord and over-ear padding are the parts described in the source. Keeping the cable untangled and the pads clean is low-risk general care for this type of headset. The splitter cable can be kept with the headset for desktop computer use. The USB jack is only for the LED light, so it does not carry the audio signal.

Why Choose This Product

Choose the GM-1 if you want a PS4-focused gaming headset that also covers Smart Phone, PC, iMac, Laptop, Tablet, PSP and New Xbox One. Remember that PS3 is not supported, and an extra adapter is needed for an old-version console controller but is not included.
